These are Arai SAL shields and fit the RX-7, Quantum, Astral Profile and Vector series helmets only. They give excellent UV protection and vision. And like all Arai full-face shields, our unique BrowVent ventilation gives you more cooling air in the upper face area with no holes in the critical forehead area of the shell or in the energy-absorbing liner material.
CARE AND FEEDING OF A MIRRORIZED SHIELD: Although Arai’s Mirrorized shields have a special hydrophobic coating that helps prevent stuff like bugs and road grime from sticking to them, the shields do scratch more easily than standard shields because of the finish.
Therefore, clean them gently, with nothing more than warm water and a soft, clean cloth or special microfiber cloth. DO NOT rub the shield or use paper towels since this will scratch the coating and reduce the life of your shield. |
